House student dormitory was built and fitted out mainly by donations from individuals and institutions.

The first donations were collected by subscription offered at luncheon August 27, 1880. Subscribe this gave 2100 rubles., Then the same amount of donations increased to 32 388r. Larger donations were made by the following:

Biysk merchant: AV Sokolov, 1000 r.
Kolyvansky merchant GI Morozov 1000 r.
Biysk merchant J. Sakharov 700 p.
Biisk merchants Brothers Gileva 500 p.
Trading house MN Sabashnikov & Sons 500 p.
Ivan Tokmakov 500 p.
Tyumen 1st guild merchant IP Volkov 500r.
State Councillor JA Nemchininovym
Besides construction of the University of P. Naranovich he took over free of drafting and estimates for the construction of houses for the hostel students and monitor the implementation of them.

Due to the fact that the construction of houses Hostels conducted simultaneously with other university buildings, the building committee was able to significantly reduce the cost of ancillary works, and build a stone house of 37 148 p.
